Itinerary

This is a sample itinerary to give you an overview of the day’s experience.

• 06:30 AM – Meet the group at River City Bangkok
• 07:00 AM – Depart for Kanchanaburi (approx. 2.5–3 hours drive)
• 10:00 AM – Arrive at Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, the resting place of nearly 9,000 Allied POWs
• 11:00 AM – Visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre to learn about the history of the Death Railway
• 12:00 PM – Stop for a delicious Thai lunch at a local restaurant
• 01:00 PM – Visit the Bridge on the River Kwai and enjoy free time for photos and exploration
• 02:00 PM – Board a train and ride along a section of the original Death Railway, passing beautiful countryside and historical sites
• 03:00 PM – Rejoin the vehicle and begin the return journey to Bangkok
• 06:00–07:00 PM – Arrive back at starting point
